We are fortunate enough to go on several trips a year to such exotic locations as India, China, and South America. During our journeys we stumble across unique items that might be vintage, antiques, or even the last one left. So, every trip, we're sure to bring our empty suitcases to fill with these rare finds so we can carry them back home.

What is your role at Wisteria? I am the Senior Creative Manager, I manage all the photography for the catalog and web. I direct and edit the photography at the photo shoots and the styling on set.
Handmade Books in Jaipur, India
This company was started when three young friends rented a booth at a trade fair 14 years ago to sell books and bags made of handmade paper. This Indian artisan has grown great lengths since then and now specializes in handmade paper, bags, books, and leather products. They are located in Jaipur, India and also have a small group of designers and workers from a small village outside of Jaipur.

Please join us as we welcome Casey Sills to our Dallas store. One of the foremost interior and still-life photographers in America. His work is widely seen in magazines specializing in architecture, food, and interior design. He works for major advertising agencies, design firms, architects, and builders, who see in his work a fresh natural approach to lighting and composition. He has a truly unique vision, with a great eye for color and design. He works fluently with stylists from around the country in collaborative efforts. Casey has put together a unique collection of urban photographs taken from his travels that will be available at our Dallas store for a limited time.
A big thank you to Gladys and Maybelle, they performed at the Rue Launch Party last night. The two songbirds are from Fort Worth, Texas and perform in the stockyards. They perform their favorite old-school country songs but also have a full length album of their original songs.

Being somewhat of a shopper (some might disagree with the word somewhat), it drove me crazy when I would read about designer sample sales that were happening in New York…The frustration that I was missing out on one-of-a-kind items at great prices. I just knew in my heart that the perfect, must have item was there waiting for me, yet I was not there to buy it!
However, we must all live through times like those to appreciate what we will find later.
