The Neshoba County Fair in Philadelphia, Mississippi.

What is the one place in the world you’ve never been but would love to go?

Egypt; I am dying to see the pyramids.

Stylish without fuss…with a little color and sparkle thrown in for fun!

What is your favorite Wisteria item?

I love W5997 – Seeing Clearly Lamp. I am also really excited about the new March 2012 products.

My friends and Family

How many languages do you speak?

Just English, but I’m extremely multilingual in “please” and “thank you.”

Craziest food you have ever eaten?

I ate a fried cricket from the Donghuamen Night Market in Beijing, China.

My one indulgence is:

YSL lipstick & lip-gloss.

The pool. It’s great for reading and relaxing or for spending time with  friends.

Shrimp and Grits from City Grocery in Oxford, Mississippi.

What are your favorite things about working at Wisteria?

During one of our warehouse sales, I met an elderly woman that was ecstatic because she finally got her Biblical Glass bowl. Seeing her smile for that one piece she has always wanted made it worth while.

What is one thing about you people probably don’t know?

As a kid my uncle had a dairy farm so I spent most of my weekends herding dairy cattle, setting hay and upsetting a few of the bulls.

What is your favorite place to visit?

So far I would have to say that little city by the bay (San Francisco)

What is the one place in the world you’ve never been but would love to go?

Italy

 How would you describe your personal style?

Laid back and witty with a splash of spontaneity

My family, I’d be lost without them

How many languages do you speak?

Two (English and Spanish) but I’m sure my mother wouldn’t include my Spanish as a language.

Craziest food you have ever eaten?

A Korean soup called Budaechigae. The reason it’s crazy to me is because it contains different ingredients every single time I try it (even if it’s at the same restaurant), yet it’s equally as delicious if not better than the previous time.

Francisco CastilloFranco is the truck/delivery lead in our warehouse. So, anything that involves the truck goes through him! He has been at Wisteria for three years.

What are your favorite things about working at Wisteria?
Interacting with a large variety of people and seeing them all come together as one.

What is one thing about you people probably don’t know?
I do not like to take pictures because I don’t consider myself very photogenic.

What is your favorite place to visit?
Waikiki Beach in Hawaii.

What is the one place in the world you’ve never been but would love to go?
Munich, Germany

How would you describe your personal style?
Unpredictable. I like to have fun so I stay positive and energized. Therefore, I always look different from everyone else. I keep things the way I want them and don’t bother with what other people think.

Hands down, it would have to be the people I work with.

What is one thing about you people probably don’t know?
Growing up, I wanted to be an astronaut. I would still love to go to outer space, then go to the moon to look back and see the Earth.

What is your favorite place to visit?
The beach. I enjoy just sitting and listening to the waves and feeling the sand beneath my toes.

What is the one place in the world you’ve never been but would love to go?
I love to travel and visit new places. One place I have yet to go that I would love to visit is Europe.

I love the people and the product.

I was born in Venezuela and speak semi-fluent Spanish.

What is your favorite place to visit?
I love to visit my sister in Sacramento, CA. When I visit, we go to the wine country, San Francisco, or Lake Tahoe.

What is one place in the world you’ve never been but would love to go?
I would love to go to Australia.

How would you describe your personal style?
I am a very organized person who loves family and friends. I love spending time with my husband and my dog, Hank.

The Distressed French Country Bench with the natural cushion – I absolutely love this bench.

Your one indulgence?
Any kind of Mexican food, but especially chicken fajitas.

The over-sized chair in the living room for watching tv; it’s so comfortable.

Joe Oliver Profile

Joe is our Repair Manager. Not only is he one of the friendliest guys at Wisteria, but he does really amazing work, building product prototypes and repairing existing products.

What are your favorite things about working at Wisteria?
I came here for its proximity to my home, and I have found a treasure chest of nice people that make coming to work every morning something to enjoy.

What is one thing about you people probably don’t know?
I own and operate a small but growing casino party company.

What is your favorite place to visit?
Galveston!

What is the one place in the world you’ve never been but would love to go?
The Everglades

How would you describe your personal style?
I take each moment as it comes and deal with adversity straight on. I don’t worry or care about anything that is out of my control. I leave my problems outside so they never become someone else’s problem.

What is your favorite Wisteria item?
Anything that doesn’t have to go through the paint booth.

My one indulgence is:
Cashews

Favorite spot in my house:
In my work shop.

Favorite food:
Toss up between Mexican and Mongolian Barbecue, although smoked pulled pork has to take honorable mention.

Lucky, my outside cat and Doc, my inside cat.

On the beach, about 14 miles SW of Galveston, with my wife Della and my phone somewhere else.

I am a direct descendant of the founder of the city of Carrollton. I was born and raised here, as was my wife. I have two grandchildren.

Michael is one of the oldest members of Wisteria. He started working here in March 2004, which makes his tenure here the 3rd longest of all employees. He tries to hide his sentimentality behind his techy exterior, but deep down inside, he’s a really nice guy who loves working here.

Eclectic and eccentric. I’m known for: Sense of humor, vast amount of trivial/useless knowledge, finger guns when posing for pictures and making delicious food.

W701 Very Old Stone Wall Lamp. I also love some of the unique stuff we get in the outlet.

What is your most treasured item?

I don’t know; I have lots of cool stuff. I collect Star Wars stuff, A-Team stuff, records, antique books, and antique kitchen tools.

Well, I don’t know how “crazy” it is, but I ate some kimchi once, and I ate some sashimi another time. I didn’t like either of them.

Lucy. Named after Lucille Ball. She is a Corgi or Corgi mix, not really sure; I got her from a shelter.

 

Vermaine is one of the most friendly and helpful guys around. I don’t believe you’ll ever see him without a smile on his face. At the opening party of the new Wisteria Outlet, he was all over the place, getting pictures with just about everyone. Here’s a little bit about him and some of the pictures from the party.

David is the manager, visual merchandiser, and sales associate for the Wisteria Outlet. He might just be the runner-up to that Dos Equis guy as the most interesting man in the world.

I cooked and ate crickets for a fundraiser, bbq monkey skewers in Africa, and I was told I had eaten dog in rural Venezuela
